grrm	5:35p	Posting from Portugal Lisbon is very hot, but very very cool. Having a great time in Portugal. The first event, last night, drew an overflow crowd. My apologies to all those who had to stand, but thanks for staying. The warmth and hospitality of my hosts and my Portuguese readers will be something I will long remember. We have another Lisbon signing this evening, and have added a fourth event, for Thursday, this one in Porto. Current Mood: hot

grrm	12:50p	Made It to Europe Well, I've made it across the ocean safe and sound. Typing this from an internet cafe. No, I didn't finish the novel, though not for want of trying. Nothing to be done about that but push on when I return. Looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones in Spain and Portugal. In my absence, all my email is being handled by my assistant, Ty. Current Mood: tired

sangochan	7:04p	random updates Traded in some anime I didn't like for Dead Rising for the 360 and the special edition of Finding Nemo. I thought this was a good trade. Did some heavy thinking these past couple of days. Am meeting with an Air Force recruiter tomorrow. This does not mean I will enlist... just that I'm heavily considering it. Very heavily. My amaretto cake is fantastic. Actually, Fantastic doesn't begin to describe it. I'm selling off unneeded furniture. This has a dual use of getting me cash in a time I really need it, and clearing out my massive amounts of junk. Good-bye, desk I never use, extra beds, shelves, and artwork I should have disposed of a long time ago, since I'm not a damned teenager anymore. Whoo. Tomorrow I actually acquire my Florida driver's license. whoohoo. New running shoes for me! They are pink. They are springy. They are much better for running than broken in skate shoes. Even if I don't go into the military, I will be running. Applied for Assistant Manager at the Gamestops in the area. Hell, I probably should have applied for a store manager position-- I'm capable. But meh. It might be something while I figure stuff out though. Go go gadget management experience! Depression equals binge eating, which equals gaining weight. This is stopping, like, now.
